It's a funny thing, me becoming a photographer. Back in college I was focused on acting and communications. That was until I took one single photography course for leisure and I started getting parking tickets because of my obsession with the darkroom. My mom suggested I take it seriously and I quickly let her know she was misdirecting me. Well, seven years, two internships, and a few jobs later, here I am living my heart out through photography. So the joke is on me, but I laugh because I learned some amazing lessons on the way:
1. Believe in new beginnings.
2. Believe in love.
3. Believe in your parents wisdom.
Now - before every shoot - I pray over my camera. I acknowledge this because I know that if even a scratch of His love were apparent in my images, they would prove to be phenomenal. So when I capture I am looking to catch just that; the many forms of love. Like many, my nuptials was an amazing day for me and a pivotal turning point for the good in my life... and my career. I am always honored to be trusted to capture a moment in life that will be cherished and reflected on for years to come.
I still love acting, believe in big dreams, and am perfectly comfortable using a semicolon. I secretly seek perfection in everything I do but tend to do best in what I love. And I can’t wait to get to know you and capture your love.
